Model for 3D printing of a lever frame with interlocking box, as used in standardized mechanical interlocking (type Einheit) on German and Polish railways. Model contains parts for building a lever frame for 8 or 17 levers and up to 16 interlocking sliders.
Parts are optimized for 3D printing in FFF technique (fused PLA or PETG filament). Recommended basic parameters of the printout:
- layer height: 0.2 mm,
- infill density: 20% (e.g. grid fill pattern),
- selected parts may require printing with additional supports.
Attention!
Some parts might be slightly longer than a print area of typical 3D printer. In such case, parts can be rotated in the slicing software to be printed e.g. along the diagonal of the print area.
